A rain delay pushed the Coke Zero 400 in Daytona from Saturday night to Sunday. Unfortunately for all those imaginary ‘Lord of the Rings’ fans who are somehow willing to spend an entire Sunday watching all three films while also not already owning said films, the NASCAR race ended up interrupting the marathon.
Instead of literally doing anything else with their Sunday, Twitter users tore into TNT for interrupting a marathon of movies that are over a decade old. Seriously, you’ve seen them already.
At the very least, choose to protest a greater injustice like the fact that a NASCAR race is called the “Coke Zero 400.”
So disappointed, maybe I wanted to spend my entire Sunday watching Lord of the Rings and eating pasta salad. Is that too much to ask for?

The satellite guide says I'm watching Lord of the Rings, but this is clearly NASCAR. This is why I have trust issues.

My TV said Lord of the Rings was on TNT. Turned the channel to watch and found indie car racing instead. The guide is a liar #ThanksObama

Lord of the Rings > getting mauled by a bear > getting mauled by two bears > getting mauled by two bears and a giraffe > NASCAR

But Lord of the Rings IS on TNT… pic.twitter.com/dRvlP26vgw

At least Jeff Burton gets it:
I would like to say that I'm ok with Lord Of The Rings not being on TV.
