This is not as bone-shattering and violent as Jadevon Clowney’s massive tackle, but for a high school player it’s pretty devastating. Mekhai Bates of appropriately named Hill City (Ks.) Ringneck High School pounced and destroyed this poor guy. During the melee his helmet flies off like it had an ejector seat and lands some 15-yards away. While it’s definitely not Clowney’s hit, but I don’t see anyone volunteering to be on the receiving end of this brain-rattling tackle.
