ESPN’s annual celebration of tasteful nudity that is the Body Issue is hitting the internet on July 6th and newsstands on July 10th and ESPN divulged two more sneak peeks of the issue’s athletes on Thursday.
Washington Nationals outfielder Bryce Harper went with the “covered in a suspicous brown substance that I have spent way too much time trying to identify” look.
He also took this strategically shadowed shot and divulged that he definitely doesn’t skip leg day at the gym.
I can squat 405. I’m proud of that — that’s one of my favorites.
Meanwhile, gymnast Ali Raisman went with something a little less messy for the photo that ESPN attached to an interview of her experiences as a gymnast.
You can always spot the gymnast. They are so ripped and so strong. Even if I was just wearing a T-shirt, my arms would just be more muscular than other girls’. If we were playing sports, I would just crush them. Even now, when I race against a guy, I always think it’s fun to beat them because they get so upset.
ESPN also put together a video of Raisman’s photo shoot where she goes into detail about her gymnastic career and how she prepares her body for events.
