Last week, former United States President Donald Trump claimed to have won both the Club Championship and the Senior Club Championship at his Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, and it seems like he celebrated that victory over the weekend.
In a post on social media, Donald Trump expressed how excited he was to receive two trophies for his recent golf victories.
“It is my great honor to be at Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach tonight, AWARDS NIGHT, to receive THE CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP TROPHY & THE SENIOR CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP TROPHY. I WON BOTH! A large and golfing talented membership, a GREAT and difficult course, made the play very exciting. The qualifying and match play was amazing. A large and distinguished group will be there tonight. Very exciting, thank you!!!” Trump said in a post on his Truth Social.
It’s not clear what Trump’s score was at the events or even who he was competing against, but he has claimed victory and was honored as a champion over the weekend.
Trump is obviously an avid golfer as he spent more than 200 days on the golf course during his time in office at the White House. It seems all that practice has paid off.
