It can’t be easy being in charge of Nike’s Twitter account. In addition to dealing with people complaining about every coveted sold-out release, the brand has to put up with trivial matters like this.
Hey @nikestore Do you have Style Code: 700098-007 in a size 11? I have a date this week and would love to wear these. Please help! 🙏🏻

Yes, a guy decided to hit up an $86.2 billion company to ask them for some moon shoes so that he could stunt on a date.

Understandably, the dude’s request was ignored at first because Nike definitely has better things to do than worry about someone’s relationship status. Not-so-understandably, the guy then tried to push the matter.
@nikestore Any luck on those shoes for my date later this week?

@nikestore Still got me waiting for a reply. Usually you guys tweet me back with the quickness. Must be a new employee..,

The shade throwing finally caught the attention of Nike who responded with this beautifully devastating reply.
@andrewj_p Two things. 1) We all know those AM Lunar90's are sold out. 2) We all know Netflix and chill by yourself doesn't count as a date.

It looks like someone will just have to toss on some beaters and hope for the best.
