In order to help promote the upcoming Air Jordan XX9 basketball shoe, Nike invited some sneaker bloggers and reporters to play basketball in the shoe so that they could give their honest opinions on how the shoe performs on court.
What they didn’t tell them was where they would be playing ball. Nike would only say that the shoes would be tested at an undisclosed location.
And boy, were the media members in for a surprise when they discovered what location Nike was able to secure.
These guys didn’t just get to test out the Air Jordan XX9 before it becomes available to the general public. They got to play in the new shoe at Michael Jordan’s Chicago-based 56,000 square-foot mansion. In Michael Jordan’s basketball gym.
Talk about making a good first impression.
