The trailer for the upcoming film “Concussion” was released earlier this week and made headlines as a potentially huge problem for the NFL.
Concussions already are an issue for the league, but the movie shines a light on the magnitude of the problem and just how incompetent the NFL has been with handling these serious injuries. However, it was reported that Sony removed parts of the film to protect the league from looking bad. Well, at least one of those scenes has been leaked.
The scene itself doesn’t seem like it would make the NFL look much worse than it already does, which makes the decision to remove it even more questionable. It’ll be interesting to see whether the movie paints an accurate picture of the serious situation despite the NFL’s attempts at covering up.
