We made it gang! It’s Christmas Eve and everything is in full swing. Tomorrow all of our planning and cooking and shopping and travelling culminate in a glorious flash of gifts and food with our loved ones. truly, it is a great day.
A tradition at my household is that my mother will spend the weeks leading up to Christmas driving my father nuts by watching “A Christmas Story” over and over again. Now, when I say she’s watching it what I mean is that she turns it on and walks away, just because she “likes to hear it in the background”. Oh, Mom.
This, of course, all comes to a glorious climax when the 24 hour marathon begins and, yes, it is on the entire time.
