In one of the better stories you will ever read about in sports, The Arizona Diamondbacks continued their amazing gesture after picking paralyzed baseball player Cory Hahn in the recent MLB draft. Hahn was a promising college baseball standout, but his career was ended on a freak accident while sliding into second base which left him paralyzed from the waist down. The Diamondbacks, and president Derrick Hall, held a full on press conference this weekend announcing their draft pick and had Cory on hand to answer questions. The D-backs selected Cory Hahn in the 34th round of this year’s draft. Brilliant work all around.
