The Pittsburgh Penguins debuted their new and improved roster today against the New York Islanders, but it took just 90 seconds for Sidney Crosby to leave the game after taking a Brooks Orpik slapshot to the face. If you watch the replay closely, you can see a couple of Sid’s teeth go flying before he is knocked down to the ice. This is the third time in the last year that Crosby has taken a puck to the face while playing the Islanders. The Penguins have reported that he will not return to the game.
