According to the Marlins, manager Ozzie Guillen has been fired. So far we only have a statement from Marlins President Larry Beinfest which reads, ““After careful consideration following the disappointment of the 2012 season, we decided to dismiss Ozzie.” The Miami Marlins had a new ballpark and high expectations but under Ozzie’s guidence the Marlins fell way short. Miami just completed its season with their worst finish (69-93) since 1999 and Ozzie will not have the opportunity to finish out his 4-year contract.
