A prominent NFL Draft scout recently raved about Georgia quarterback Carson Beck. It was no ordinary praise either, as Daniel Jeremiah compared Beck to one of the best SEC quarterbacks of the 21st century.
In a recent scouting profile, Jeremiah said Beck reminds him of Eli Manning.
“Considering his size, talent, and play style, he reminds me of Eli Manning coming out of Ole Miss,” Jeremiah wrote on NFL.com. “Like Manning, Beck excels from the pocket and plays to his size.”
Several had plenty to say about this eye-popping comparison.

“Beck is easily the most talented UGA passer since Matthew Stafford departed after the 2008 season and I can’t wait to study his play this fall”

Beck is a tremendous player and a great quarterback under center for the Dawgs. While there might be a bias against him because of the plethora of talent in Athens, he holds up his end of the bargain and then some. That’s why scouts like Jeremiah are raving over his potential pro abilities.
