Marvin Harrison Jr. Syndication: Arizona Republic

Superstar wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. certainly took a unique approach to the NFL Draft as he chose not to participate in workouts at the NFL Scouting Combine or Ohio State’s pro day. And it sounds like he is skipping another high-profile event that nearly every high-profile rookie player is attending.

As NFL insider Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk points out, Marvin Harrison Jr. has declined his invitation to the 2024 NFLPA Rookie Premiere in Los Angeles.

“He still doesn’t have an NFLPA licensing deal. Perhaps not coincidentally, Cardinals receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. did not accept an invitation to attend the 2024 NFLPA Rookie Premiere in L.A.,” Florio wrote for Pro Football Talk.

“He was indeed on the invitation list. He was not on the official list of expected attendees.”

Obviously, this is a pretty shocking move considering every single skill player selected among the top 15 picks will be at the event besides Harrison, and it led to a lot of reactions on social media.

Harrison’s absence is likely due to the fact that he has not yet signed his licensing agreement with the NFLPA due to a dispute with Fanatics. We’ll have to see if that issue is resolved shortly.
