It sounds like a former Ohio State Buckeyes football player is in some serious trouble with the law after he was allegedly caught robbing a bank.

According to a report from 10TV, former Ohio State Buckeyes cornerback Marcus Williamson was arrested this week for robbing a bank in north Columbus on Wednesday.

“Williamson approached the teller and gave them a note demanding money and that he was armed with a gun, documents say. The teller complied and gave Williamson an unspecified amount of cash,” 10TV reported this week.

“Williamson ran away from the bank, got into a Jeep and left. Police saw Williamson fleeing and he was arrested. Records say cash was found on him and he has been charged with aggravated robbery.”

To make matters worse for Williamson, 10TV reports that the former Ohio State cornerback is also being investigated for nine different bank robberies that have occurred in the past few weeks.

This is not the first time Williamson has been in trouble with the law. Just over two years ago, Williamson was arrested and charged for kidnapping, robbing and carjacking a woman in Tennessee.

Williamson is currently being held without bond after his latest arrest on Wednesday.
