Former United States President Donald Trump has made it very clear where he stands on the debate about transgender women competing in women’s sports, but during a speech this week, he took a very weird approach to expressing his displeasure with transgender athletes.
Donald Trump recently gave a speech at the Oakland County Republican Party Lincoln Day Dinner, where he was honored as “Man of the Decade.” During the speech, Trump took the opportunity to discuss his displeasure at transgender women competing in women’s sports, something he claims he will ban if he’s elected president.
Trump claimed that transgender women are breaking long-standing records in women’s weightlifting competitions. To illustrate his point, the former president began emulating a cisgender woman failing to lift a heavy barbell. As part of his act, he also included some extremely disturbing moans and groans, mocking women.
