Andrew Carter of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel writes that, according to the police report, Brandon Marshall’s wife, Michi, has admitted to stabbing her husband with a kitchen knife. She is claiming that the act was committed in self-defense.
Brandon Marshall, the standout Dolphins wide receiver reported to the police that he slipped a fell on a vase. There has been speculation that a vase was thrown at Brandon by his wife, but the police report reads differently.
In good news, the injuries that Brandon incurred are not serious and he is expected to be released from the hospital shortly.
The NFL network’s Jason La Canfora reported via Twitter:
Brandon Marshall will be discharged from hospital shortly, according to his agent, Kennard McGuire. Full recovery in 2-3 weeks…
With the current lockout in place there are rules on the interactions teams can have with their players, but according to the NFL the Dolphins team doctor will be allowed to tend to Brandon Marshall:
“The team doctor can see him. The trainer and team doctor can consult with his other doctors. The team can send well wishes or other types of appropriate expressions of support.”
