The Washington Wizards lost to the Miami Heat this evening, but the story of the game belonged to the right cross that John Wall threw at Zydrunas Ilgauskas. Ilgauskas was holding the ball above John and threw two elbows which Wall took offense to and he let his fist fly at Ilgauskas’ rib cage. John connected but it didn’t do much damage to the seven footer. You have to think John Wall was pretty lucky that his teammates intervened. John Wall, Zydrunas Ilgauskas and Juwan Howard were all ejected for their roles in the skirmish.
