The Dolphins came out on top in a surprising 37-0 blowout of the Chargers yesterday in Miami, improving to 5-3 on the season. As is often the case with big victories, Dolphins players decided to celebrate in the game’s final moments by hitting coach Joe Philbin with a Gatorade ice bath.
Unfortunately for one of the game’s referees, he happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time and also got an ice bath of his own. From the looks of things, he didn’t exactly enjoy it.
It’s pretty hilarious to see the juxtaposition of reactions from Philbin, who barely even flinches, and the ref, who appears to be in serious distress, as they receive their unexpected bath.
