Spud Mann’s new tattoo is the epitome of when folks take fantasy football just one step too far. Yes, that is a real tattoo, and yes it does have a unicorn, a rainbow, and the words “Fantasy Loser.” “It’s pretty epic, I’ll tell you what,” said Mann, who now sports this gem due to finishing last in his fantasy football league. Spud had joined a league of 10 total friends and they made a pact at the beginning of the year that the loser needed to get a tattoo of the winner’s choice when the season was over. “The most ironic part of this whole thing is it was my idea to do this,” Mann said with a laugh. “It kind of backfired.” Spud pitched the loser tattoo idea to his buddies last summer. “We take it pretty seriously,” he said. That is an understatement.
“I don’t know about when they made the bet, but when they came in here, they were sober,” Anderson said. “They made me laugh through the whole thing. … That guy is a good sport. They had a deal, if you lost, you had to stick with it. Word is bond.” You have to respect Spud for owning up to this one.
