Former United States President Donald Trump is currently facing 91 felony counts in four jurisdictions across the country. As a result, he’s unable to attend the Staysure Senior PGA Championship at his golf resort in Aberdeen, Scotland. And he’s not happy about it.
So naturally – as he’s apt to do – Donald Trump took to Truth Social to complain about his situation.
“I have the Staysure Senior PGA Championship in Aberdeen, Scotland, on my great course, and I can’t go,” Trump wrote.
“I have to stay around and fight off the Crazed Radical Left Lunatics, Communists, Marxists, and Fascists. I wouldn’t want to be in Europe and watch this COUNTRY DESTROYING Scum work their disgusting and illegal ‘magic’ on unsuspecting Republican ‘leaders’ who just don’t think it is appropriate to Fight Fire With Fire. BUT WE WILL WIN. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”
It’s pretty brutal news for Trump, and his social media complaints certainly generated a lot of reactions.
I was able to go to Scotland this summer because I didn’t organize a failed coup. It’s not that hard.

I’m sure the Scots are really upset. From what I’ve read they absolutely love him in Scotland…. (sarc) https://t.co/H3JlL7gpKf

My daughter and her husband are going to Scotland this week. They didn't try to overthrow the Capitol.

So it's PGA not Liv, eh?

Trump is expected to go to trial in early 2024 ahead of the much-anticipated presidential election later that year, so we will have to wait until then to see if he becomes the first former president in the history of the country to be sentenced to prison time.
