All NFL fans will be buzzing currently due to the fabulous entertainment the 2021/22 season has produced so far. We now sit around the halfway mark and this is a great time to look at who might make a deep playoff run this year.

It is not just interesting to do this either – it can help if you like to bet on the sport. By looking at which sides might make it into the playoffs for a deep run, you can back them to do so. If you do plan to make playoff wagers in the NFL, make sure to work out how much you might get back from your bet first or how much you need to put down to make a certain return. Betting Calculator is a great tool for this and is not only simple to use but also makes it easy to work out things like this for sports betting.

But which NFL sides might make a deep playoff run this year?

Tennessee Titans

One side who have looked in fine form so far overall in the current campaign is the Titans. Although the recent injury to Derrick Henry was a blow, you still have to fancy them to make a deep playoff run. An offense with Tannehill, Jones and Brown is enough to scare any other team in the NFL after all! A thrilling 34-31 win over the Bills and that dominant 27-3 victory over the Chiefs shows why many feel good about them this season.

Dallas Cowboys

Over in the NFC East, the Cowboys are making a lot of noise and look set to make a deep playoff run too. Their record so far backs this up and they have looked very good for most of the campaign. Of course, the star man has been Dak Prescott at quarterback who has been in top form and sitting towards the head of the pack in most passing statistics. In addition, Micah Parsons has exploded onto the scene as one of the current NFL rookies of the year. All this bodes well for a Cowboys playoff run in 2021/22.

Green Bay Packers

Green Bay look to be strong in the current NFL season and set to run away with the NFC North. Although an opening day loss was not ideal, they recovered well to notch up a string of wins afterwards. An away victory against an impressive Cardinals side stood out, as did a 35-17 mauling of the Lions. While a recent loss to the Chiefs was a blow, the return of star QB Aaron Rodgers should get them back on track moving forward.

Deep playoff run looking good for top NFL sides

Now we are at mid-point in the season, it is a great time to start looking at which sides might make a real dent in the playoffs. The above teams certainly have shown enough so far to not only make it into the post-season but also to make a real impression.
