The Cincinnati Bengals made the gutsy decision to go for a fourth down conversion at the Houston Texans one yard line during the second quarter.
Unfortunately for the Bengals, while A.J. Green did catch Andy Dalton’s fade route pass, he couldn’t stay in bounds and the Bengals turned it over on downs.
Fortunately for the Bengals, on the very next play the Texans decided to try and run the ball out of their own end zone. Alfred Blue couldn’t even get back to the line of scrimmage and the Bengals would get a safety as a result.
It’s no touchdown but the Bengals have got to be happy with their consolation prize.
