As the Blackhawks and Kings skated off the ice following the conclusion of the second period of Game 6 on Friday night, we almost got to see one of the rarest (but most cherished) hockey highlights: a goalie fight.
Kings goaltender Jonathan Quick and Blackhawks goalie Corey Crawford exchanged some words and butted heads as they headed to their respective benches for the second intermission before they were split up by an official. Judging from the glove shake from Crawford at the end, it looks like he may have wanted to go. DAMNIT REF.
