The Clippers eeked out a two-point victory in Oakland last night to take a 2-1 series lead against the Golden State Warriors. Chris Paul was instrumental in the victory, recording a double-double in the 98-96 win, so it’s not a surprise that Clips coach Doc Rivers brought him up in his post-game interview.
What was surprising, however, was the fact that Doc accidentally (we think) called CP3 “Cliff” while talking to the media. I have to imagine that it might be a result of Chris being jokingly called Cliff around the locker room thanks to his State Farm commercials, in which he has a long-lost twin brother by the same name.
