For their April 1st episode of The Price is Right, the game show pulled off a brilliant joke that was amusing and awesome, a combination that almost never applies to April Fools’ jokes.
At the start of the show, Bob Barker triumphantly appeared to a thrilled crowd after the announcer called upon Drew Carey, the show’s current host. Everyone lost their mind (because who wouldn’t when faced with a surprise guest appearance by Bob Barker) and Barker went about the job as if he had never left. It was a blast from the past but Barker didn’t miss a beat during the segment.
