It has been confirmed that Chicago Bears defensive end Lamarr Houston tore his ACL while celebrating a sack in the final few minutes of Sunday’s 51-23 victory over the Bears in New England. Houston will miss the rest of the season.

Houston becomes the second player to have his season cut short over a sack celebration gone horribly wrong. Stephen Tulloch suffered the same injury while doing the “Discount Double Check” move after sacking Aaron Rodgers earlier this season.

Maybe Tulloch can take some solace in the fact that at least his injury didn’t come during garbage time of a disastrous outing for his team. Nice going.
