Blake Griffin is one of the more personable and entertaining players in the NBA, and he has certainly used that to cash in on a lot of sponsorships and ad deals already throughout his career. His latest ads, released this week, are a series of videos that feature the Clippers forward reciting slam poetry about amusing topics – including tearaway pants, mouthguards and bobbleheads – for VIZIO.

He didn’t stop there, though. Blake decided to take the campaign one step further by hitting up the Laugh Factory in Los Angeles for open mic night on Tuesday, where he recited some of those poems for a small live audience.
