Professional wrestler Ric Flair is amazing, so the world was jarred over the weekend when it was reported that he was hospitalized with heart issues.
As the website Pro Wrestling Sheet reported he was in the ICU, his manager said that Flair was in the hospital for “routine monitoring” for some of his recent heart troubles. Thankfully, the visit appeared to be routine and was scheduled in advance.
Legendary Talent CEO Melinda Morris Zanoni, one of his representatives, said this about Ric Flair’s health on twitter:
Yes,Ric in hosp 4routine monitoring.No reason2panic.Yes,many thx2his fiancé&hospstaff.No excuses Ric wld want u2go out 2nite NaturBoy style!

Translated from Twitter shorthand:
“Yes, Ric is checked into a hospital for some routine monitoring. No, there is no reason to panic. Yes, we’d like to thank his fiancé & the incredible hospital staff who are providing the best care. No, we cannot answer any personal questions. Yes, Ric would want you to go out and have a great weekend … Nature Boy style!”
Flair has suffered from heart issues recently, most notably those that he admitted he had from alcohol related troubles in his 2004 book Ric Flair: To Be the Man.
Thankfully, the recent hospital visit for the Nature Boy was nothing more than routine and precautionary, and he’s continuing to see his health improve as time goes on. Disaster averted.
Here’s hoping there are fewer heart troubles, and way more “woos” going forward for the 68-year-old Nature Boy.
