With the news that the NHL will cancel the 2013 Winter Classic later today, hockey fans in North America are probably looking for something to cheer them up. Enter USHL Under-18 forward Kevin Labanc.
Labanc scored this absolutely filthy shootout goal last night against the undefeated Dubuque Fighting Saints in Ann Arbor, MI. (Yep, the same place the Winter Classic would have taken place.) Labanc’s goal helped give Team USA the win and the Fighting Saints their first loss on the season.
