March has come and gone and between a busy NFL free agency period, March Madness, the NBA and NHL seasons and MLB getting back in gear, there’s been plenty of great sports moments over the past 30 days as well.
In no particular order, here are some of our favorite moments from March.
1. Ron Hunter Loses His Mind (and Seat) After R.J. Hunter Hits Game-Winning Three

Georgia State head coach Ron Hunter had to coach from a rolling stool for his team’s game against Baylor due to a torn Achilles that he suffered from, well, celebrating a win a couple of days before. With seconds to go and his team down by two, Hunter’s son R.J. hit a game-winning three pointer and Hunter literally fell off of his seat in celebration.
