Russian players in pro hockey are often criticized for being too soft and shying away from the physicality the NHL brings. Apparently, that “softness” kicks in as players get older because these 10-year old Russians certainly aren’t shying away from anything.
This video comes our way via Puck Daddy and shows a compilation of the mayhem between two teams of 10-year-olds from Moscow and Novokuznetsk. The youth teams met on Sunday, Nov. 25, with the club from Moscow (the Polar Bears) earning a 3-o win when the game was called early, due to all the fighting.
Honestly, pretty awesome stuff.
