The fallout from the fight between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather has somehow been more drama-filled than the lead-up to the fight itself.
Since the unanimous Mayweather decision, we’ve had Floyd offer to fight a rematch and then change his mind while calling Pacquiao a “coward”, Pacquiao’s camp reveal that Pacquiao actually fought Mayweather with a torn rotator cuff which they couldn’t give him a shot of toradol for because of a paperwork mishap and Nevada authorities looking into the whole thing for potential fines or penalties.
With “Shoulder-Gate” (sigh) consuming the post-fight narrative, Max Kellerman, the guy who aggressively questioned Pacquiao after the Mayweather fight, gave a heated defense of Pacquiao on Saturday night, noting that it would have been a logistical nightmare for Pacquiao to delay the fight for up to a year to have shoulder surgery.
