Whether it be sports, tech, entertainment or anything else important to you, the Cosby Sweaters team is always looking to “put you on game”…so to speak. Meaning, if there’s something out there that’s worthy of note, be certain that we will transfer that knowledge back to you. The same thing goes for eateries. If there’s a meal that particularly floats the collective boat then BOOM: from our arteries to your computer monitors and/or mobile devices.
That leads us to a hamburger place in the San Francisco Bay Area called Jack’s Prime. Jack’s has been open since 2008 and has become a lunchtime favorite with the local tech crowd. Jack’s has a simple menu; known for burgers, shakes and some great beers and wines.
On my first trip there I went with their Ultimate Bacon burger. Description from the Menu:
Cheddar cheese, tomato, iceberg lettuce and Applewood smoked bacon with maple bacon mayo and bacon in the patty.
Allow me to reiterate what’s happening here. That’s bacon three ways.
- They have the Applewood smoked bacon on top – cooked perfectly.
- Then there is a maple bacon mayo that they use – this was one of the best things I have ever tasted. You were eating your burger and then you get this taste of like pancake or waffle or something from the maple flavor – it’s amazing. Sigh.
- Lastly, the think tank at Jack’s had the f*cking audacity and the presence of mind to add bacon to the goddamn burger itself. The burger itself.
Again, that’s bacon three ways and Jack’s Prime served up one of the top 3 burgers I’ve ever had in my life.
