This is one of the largest sharks I have seen caught on film. As someone who loves to surf a few times a week (on the west coast), this scares the crap out of me. Apparently this JAWS-esque 18-foot creature was filmed just 25 miles off the coast of N.C., just Southeast of Wrightsville Beach.
The videographer describes the incident:
This great white circled our 21ft boat for 20 minutes and made contact with the boat (slapped its tail on the boat). We were about 25 miles southeast of Wrightsville Beach.
