Back in 2007, Snoop Dogg attended Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Final between the Ducks and Ottawa Senators at the Honda Center in Anaheim. During an intermission, Snoop was interviewed by CBC reporter Scott Oake (who had a killer intro to the segment, by the way) about his hockey fandom and such.
The interview was nothing too special but, as one user on Reddit pointed out, it does contain a pretty hilarious guest appearance from a current NHL star before he made it big. Seated just one row and a few seats to the left of the famous rapper was one James van Riemsdyk, future forward for the Toronto Maple Leafs, who looked very excited to be there:
Van Riemsdyk, a New Jersey native, would have been around 18 years old at the time and may have been in Anaheim for the top prospects showcase that takes place around the Cup final every year. Judging from that goofy smile, it looked like he had the time of his life that night. And, look, he even got a picture with Snoop!
It appears that you get super stoned by simply posing for pictures with Snoop Dogg.
