During a paddle-out memorial service for recently deceased Junior Seau this weekend, a woman in her 50s who participated was pulled face-down from the water and treated on site.
According to the USA Today:
A woman in her 50s whoparticipated in Sunday’s “paddle-out” tribute to Seauin Oceanside, Calif., is in serious condition after being pulled face-down from the water where several surfers and kayakers were paying tribute to the fallen civic icon, per the Associated Press. She was treated on site before being transported to a hospital.
This is the last thing that anyone needed and we hope that the paramedics are able to prevent another tragedy.
