The relationship between the New England Patriots and the NFL league office isn’t exactly at an all-time high right now.
While Patriots owner Robert Kraft did recently state that he would “reluctantly” accept the league’s punishments over Deflategate, the Patriots have made it clear that they aren’t happy with the league or how the Wells Report was conducted.
So, it may not be that much of a coincidence that the NFL’s official Twitter account tweeted out this little bit of (perhaps) trollish fun:
Precision.
Strength.
Intelligence.

Intelligence
Combine that with the fact that the NFL’s Twitter account chose Andrew Luck, the quarterback of the team that the Patriots played during the infamous “Deflategate” AFC Championship Game, as the face of “PSI” and you have one extremely well-crafted Tweet that may or may not be a masterful shot at the Patriots.
The best shade is when one can’t convincingly state whether shade is actually being thrown. Well done NFL. This is some prime shade.
