The Carolina Panthers barely held on to beat the Green Bay Packers yesterday and one of their fans lost something other than just the experience of a win.
Packers fan Mike Dobs brought a sign that read “North Carolina Cheesehead” with him to the game and hung it over the railing in front of his front row seats. In pregame warmups, Cam Newton saw the sign and ripped it down. Dobs was extremely upset and called the police on Newton for taking his sign which apparently cost him $500 to make.

Dobs is giving the Panthers and Newton 48 hours to do something or he will pursue further action. Here’s a picture of Newton running away with the sign.
