The Chicago Bears have yet to formally decide whether or not Justin Fields will remain as the quarterback of the team next season. But based on a recent move from Fields on social media, is seems like the relationship between him and the team has at least been fractured a little bit.
As Tom Fornelli of CBS Sports points out, Justin Fields no longer follows the Chicago Bears official account on Instagram, which is a recent change.
“BREAKING: Justin Fields no longer follows the Bears on Instagram,” Fornelli wrote in a post on X, the social media website that was formerly known as Twitter.
DEVELOPING: Justin Fields’ dog Uno has also unfollowed the Bears on Instagram. As of yet I am unable to confirm whether Uno made this decision himself or if his social media manager made it. Remarkable nonetheless. pic.twitter.com/VB49jMv6Ai

“Justin Fields’ dog Uno has also unfollowed the Bears on Instagram. As of yet I am unable to confirm whether Uno made this decision himself or if his social media manager made it. Remarkable nonetheless,” Fornelli wrote, partially joking while also factually pointing out that Fields’ dog’s account no longer following the Bears’, either.
Obviously, this does not necessarily mean anything as no official news or reports have indicated that the Bears have completely decided to move on from Fields, but it’s still a noteworthy move, and it led to a lot of reactions on social media.

We’ll have to see what the Bears choose to do.
