The Houston Texans have a strong trio of wide receivers heading into this season with Stefon Diggs joining Tank Dell and Nico Collins, and it sounds like head coach DeMeco Ryans thinks that will make his team difficult to stop.
During a recent press conference, DeMeco Ryans had a bit of a warning for opponents about just how difficult he thinks his team’s offense will be to defend this upcoming season.
“You want different body types, different type of movers to cause as many problems for a defense as possible, right?” Ryans said according to the Houston Chronicle. “We want to put defenses in binds, and I think with those three guys it allows us to do that because they are so different, and they can all do different things.”
Obviously, the talent at receiver will be augmented by young superstar quarterback C.J. Stroud, who quickly emerged as one of the most dominant quarterbacks in the league last season during just his rookie year in the NFL.
Needless to say, it looking like the Houston Texans offense is going to be difficult to stop this upcoming season, and it sounds like Ryans and the rest of the team know it.
