During last year’s game against the Dallas Cowboys, San Francisco 49ers superstar tight end George Kittle wore a shirt under his jersey that had a particularly profane message for the Dallas Cowboys printed across the front. His decision to display the shirt cost him a pretty hefty fine, but it sounds like he has no regrets.
The new Netflix documentary Receiver released this week, which details the 2023 season from the eyes of several of the league’s wide receivers as well as one tight end, George Kittle. The show gave an inside look at Kittle’s decision to wear a shirt under his pads that read “[Expeletive] Dallas” during the Niners’ showdown with the Dallas Cowboys.
Cameras showed Kittle on the sideline talking to his teammates speculating about just how much he would be fined as a result of his shirt. Kittle speculated that he was going to get fined “anywhere from $5,000 to $35,000” for his antics.

The fine ultimately ended up at $15,000, but it sounds like Kittle has no regrets about his decision. In fact, he claims he might do it again.
“[The fine] was $15K and I don’t regret it one bit. Not one bit and I might do it again given the opportunity,” Kittle said.
