Despite whispers that Brandon Marshall was on his way out of Chicago, many people were still stunned by the news he was traded to the New York Jets on Friday. It is impossible to know what is said behind closed doors and the true intention behind the deal for both sides, but it remains a potentially massive trade with wide-ranging effects.
As a result, anyone and everyone wanted to share their opinion on the second massive trade of the week, the first being the shocking LeSean McCoy-Kiko Alonso deal on Tuesday. Some of those opinions were plain hilarious or downright befuddling. Some included claims that the Jets were a legit and terrifying teams. And some wondered how Rex Ryan might be able to work Marshall into the offense (Don’t tell him that Rex is in Buffalo now) or how dynamic the Marshall-“Hardin” pairing would be.
