It’s just been one of those nights for the Chicago Bears.
Looking to try and breathe life into a lifeless squad, the Bears special teams decided to try and fake a punt against the New Orleans Saints on fourth down from their own 39.
Danny McCray would only get two yards when his team needed three but it wouldn’t have mattered even if he got the extra yard. The team was flagged for illegal formation due to not lining guys up at the right places.
Comically, they also only brought out ten players for the attempt.
Bears try fake punt, come up short, only have 10 guys on the field, and in an illegal formation.

Yikes.
Somehow, this will become Jay Cutler’s fault.
