Could you imagine Andrew Luck in a New York Jets uniform?
Apparently, that’s not something Luck wants to picture. According to the NY Post’s Page Six, the Indianapolis Colts quarterback and his college teammate Jonathan Martin hung out in New York and chatted with a diehard Jets fan. The conversation went like this:
The duo were “drinking Heinekens” and “shooting the breeze about football” with a die-hard Jets fan at the bar, we’re told. When the Gang Green backer told Luck, “I wish you were the quarterback of the Jets,” Luck leaned in and whispered, “F - - k that, man.”
If it wasn’t already clear that Luck is satisfied as the Colts’ long-term quarterback, it should be now. Either that, or he just wants to avoid the Jets at all costs. Both would make sense.
