Over the past several NFL seasons later in his career, future Hall of Fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers has become rather notorious for his refusal to attend voluntary workouts with his team. But in a pretty shocking twist, it looks like Rodgers is attending the Jets’ offseason workouts on the very first day.
Aaron Rodgers famously declined to take part in the voluntary offseason programs with the Green Bay Packers later in his career. After he joined the New York Jets, Rodgers attended more than half of the offseasons workouts but still wasn’t there for all of them. But when the Jets began their offseason program on Monday, Rodgers was there from the start.
“Happy to see you too [Aaron Rodgers], ” the New York Jets official account said in a post on X, the social media website that was formerly known as Twitter.

It’s not clear exactly how much Rodgers intends to work out with the team, but the fact that he was there in the building for the first day of voluntary workouts is certainly significant.
