Last season, New York Jets star quarterback Aaron Rodgers suffered a season-ending Achilles injury just four snaps into his debut game with the team. Though he tried his best to return last season, he was ultimately sidelined for the remainder of the season. But as the Jets begin their OTAs this week, it sounds like Rodgers is all the way back.

During a press conference this week, New York Jets head coach Robert Saleh gave a pretty significant update on the health of quarterback Aaron Rodgers as he revealed that Rodgers has “no restrictions” during the team’s OTAs.

“He looks good, man,” Saleh said according to SNY. “The arm talent, obviously, is still there. But it’s really just re-acclimating to everything. We’re trying a bunch of new stuff, too. Just trying to evolve within the offense.

“He’s doing everything.”

Obviously, this is a pretty significant update and announcement after a brutal injury last season, and it led to a lot of reactions on social media as a result.

Last season clearly did not go the way Rodgers or the Jets hoped that it would, but it sounds like he’s ready to try again this year. We’ll have to see how it goes.
