We are about two years removed from one of the most bizarre off-the-field sports incidents in recent memory and although the Manti Te’o girlfriend debacle will never be forgotten, most have moved on…except for San Francisco 49ers offensive tackle Anthony Davis. The veteran lineman apparently brought up the very sensitive topic to the Chargers linebacker during San Diego’s comeback victory in Week 16 and unsurprisingly Te’o did not appreciate it:
It’s highly unlikely that Davis is the only guy to use the incident as in-game firepower but very few are actually still talking about it.
