North Carolina Central will most likely represent the MEAC in the NCAA Tournament and while the Eagles are extremely talented, their media relations department also appears to be very cocky.
Following their 91-43 destruction of Coppin State in the conference tourney quarterfinals on Wednesday, they wrote a press release, a standard practice following a game. Press releases usually contain the basics, including the score, stats and a brief recap of the game among a few other items. They very rarely offer blunt opinion and almost never are written in an arrogant tone.

Did they demolish Coppin State? Absolutely. They laid a monster hammer on the MEAC No. 9 seed and have every right to celebrate their victory, but such a profound press release is usually not the way go about things.
