The Internet collectively freaked out this morning when Lane Kiffin didn’t know that there was a USC players only meeting which happened. Immediately articles started popping up with speculation that this was the beginning of the end for Kiffin. While that may still be true, Marqise took to Twitter for the first time in over a week to put a sense of temporary calm in the minds of USC fans. His intentions were good, but I think I’m more confused than ever, to be honest.

It looks like Marqise Lee’s joke got twisted just a bit. I guess that is what happens when jokes are made about a coach who is on the hot seat.
Kiffin said there was no players-only meeting on Sunday. Marqise Lee just told us there was, "PLAYERS ONLY" Lee joked as he broke the news.
