It’s safe to assume that Paul Pierce will not be spending much time in Toronto during the final years of his career and during retirement. The Wizards guard appears to be viciously hated by Raptors fans after taking a couple shots at the team and the message was quite clear during Saturday’s Game 1 in Toronto.
The first instance of hate came during a pregame rally in which fans chanted “Let’s Go Raptors, F**k Paul Pierce!”
Then the crowd could be heard chanting an impressively loud rendition of “Paul Pierce Sucks” during the opening minutes of the game:
